Belle | Beauty and the Beast

Maya is making her at Belmont University’s Fisher Center for the Performing Arts as Belle in Beauty and The Beast. Maya is excited to enter her world and tell this tale of kindness, acceptance, and transformation, bringing to life one of Disney's most beloved heroines.

“Maya Kaempf played Belle in the performance we reviewed, delivering a picture-perfect visual of her character, while singing the role with the confidence of a genuine artist. Spirited and independent, Kaempf's Belle has an almost indefinable presence: she simply is "Belle," captivating everyone in the audience with her portrayal.” - Broadwayworld.com Review: “Belmont University Musical Theatre's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST Showcases Students' Immense Talents”

Serena | Legally Blonde

It’s time to Bend and Snap! Maya is returning to Belmont University’s Fisher Center for the Performing Arts this spring taking on the role of Serena in Legally Blonde: The Musical on March 23rd and 24th.

“Payton Tabb, Rachael Gomez, and Maya Kaempf, as Elle’s best girlfriends who double as a Greek chorus of sorts throughout the show before making their real-life appearance at Brooke’s trial, very nearly steal the show with their awesome performances.” - Broadwayworld.com Review: “Could LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL Be Belmont University Musical Theatre's Best-Ever?”

Jane Doe | Ride the Cyclone

Maya is thrilled to make her regional theater debut with Street Theatre Company as Jane Doe in their SOLD OUT run of Ride the Cyclone, running from October 13-28.

“Kaempf’s stunning voice is put on full display, along with her stellar acting abilities, in the role of “Jane Doe,” the decapitated victim of the roller coaster tragedy who has yet to be identified because her head hasn’t been found. Her stylized manner of moving and speaking helps create the illusion of her being headless (well, she seems more like a zombie – but what can you do?), while the complete impact of her performance is deeply felt.” - Broadwayworld.com Review: “Street Theatre Company's RIDE THE CYCLONE May Be the Best Thing We've Seen in 2023”

Ashley | Yes! The Musical

Maya had the incredible opportunity to originate the role of Ashley in the brand-new musical, Yes!, directed and choreographed by Shea Sullivan. Ashley is a young bride caught between her own dreams and the demands of her bridezilla mother. Link to cast recordings available under media.

“Maya Kaempf and Emma Texiera put their full arsenal of theatrical gifts on display as Ashley, the bride-to-be, and as Kayleigh, her best girlfriend and maid-of-honor. I wrote that if I could hear the two of them perform “Losing My Mind” and “Not A Day Goes By” on a loop for the rest of my life, I could die a happy man and I’m happy to say I still feel that way – they are extraordinary. In Yes, A Musical Comedy, both Kaempf and Texiera are perfectly cast, their versatility and confidence awe-inspiring.” - Broadwayworld.com Review: “YES THE MUSICAL at Dream Hotel”
